I'm Mace from Germany. I'm basically a car maniac, wich I am sure is considered as usual here
I have done a few build and I'm basically more or less involved in building every day, sometimes the project is locost, sometimes not and sometimes it even is not a car. I'm also registered to the US Locost forums but not to the English one because of the phone call thing which may be familiar to some of you (even tough somebody offered to do that for me).
I logged on here to share my enthusiasm and love for everything having wheels in oder to drive (or not, depends... ) but faced a few problems during the process of registering myself. If you don't mind I'd like to report these to give someone the change to improve. (I'm not trying to bitch about) First of all it was quite hard for me to read the terms and conditions, even though I have been on vacation in Sweden and discovered big similarities in language. People from other places on the world may do even worse since they don't have those similarities. It was not possibly for me to log on with my email address so I decided to not let go but create a "dummy" email with swedish Yahoo. I hope I can edit it to get the Forums mails delivered to my usual account.
I do not speak swedish but decided to get it managed before so I see this forum as a great chance for developing my non-engineering skills as well.
Last but not least I'd like to mention that it is great having people tinkering with me on the same Continent and in the same timezone
